Local lawyer Man of the Year

Ross M. Wolfe, a South Philadelphia resident and associate at the Kang Haggerty law firm, was recently named the Young Republican National Federation’s 2023 Man of the Year during the organization’s bi-annual convention, held in Dallas.

The award recognizes extraordinary contributions to the YRNF by a Young Republican male leader over the last year. Wolfe is general counsel for the national association, a position he has served in since 2019. He also serves as chairman of the Pennsylvania chapter of the Republican National Lawyers Association and general counsel for the Philadelphia Republican City Committee.

“Ross has led our legal team for more than three years and in that time has been an extremely valuable resource,” said YRNF chairman Rick Loughery in presenting the award. “He has helped us navigate various legal and compliance issues political organizations encounter.”

Wolfe represents clients in a range of commercial and consumer disputes, including consumer and insurance fraud, whistleblower actions, healthcare disputes, securities, class actions and general business litigation.

A lifelong Philadelphian, Wolfe is a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School, Catholic University of America and George Washington University Law School. He is married with a son.
