Mini Station fundraiser

T""he Friends of the South Street Police Mini Station, 905 South St., will hold its second annual fundraiser 3 to 6 p.m. May 22 at the Society Hill Dance Academy, 409 S. Second St., with all of the proceeds benefiting the mini-station.

The event, A Taste of Our Neighborhoods, will consist of food, drinks, music, prizes, a silent auction, raffles and a dunk tank. Tickets are $25.

The friends group — consisting of Bella Vista Town Watch, Hawthorne Empowerment Coalition, MLK Plaza, Society Hill Civic Association, South Street Headhouse District, Queen Village Neighbors Association and Washington Square West Civic Association — helps to provide police bikes, and computers in addition to assisting with station maintenance.
