A man was robbed in Lower Moyamensing after a night at the casino early Monday.
The 43-year-old was traveling from Fishtown’s SugarHouse Casino at 1:35 a.m. when three masked men, with two armed with handguns, demanded he place his arms in the air on the 800 block of Winton Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. One of the offenders snatched $1,800 from his pocket, and he and the others fled in an unknown direction. It was unclear if the offenders had followed him from the casino.
Police did not have a description of the thieves at press time.
