An unknown man broke into a Bella Vista café and fled on his moped early Tuesday.

The thief broke into a 34-year-old woman’s Down Dog Healing Café, 1001 S. 10th St., via the front door window, took $300 from the register and fled on his white moped, which he kept running during the heist, heading westbound on Carpenter Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

The offender was described as black with a dark complexion, tall, thin, and wearing a blue flannel shirt and a baseball cap.
