The annual PAL Day at City Hall took place on Monday and included a few South Philadelphia participants. Kahssian Kay, from left, was paired with First Deputy Recreation Commissioner Susan Slawson, Lauren Overton shadowed City Representative Desiree Peterkin-Bell and Tyriek Holloway spent his time with Chief Innovation Officer Adel Ebeid. The day of mentoring included participants from each of the city’s 18 Police Athletic League Centers. Following the kickoff ceremony, the students spent the day shadowing their respective officials and learning about careers in City government.
