Police seek the public’s help in bringing to justice the unknown figure(s) who shot a trio of males in Grays Ferry.

At approximately midnight Aug. 29, a Philadelphia Police Department foot patrol officer heard gunshots near the 2600 block of Dickinson Street. He surveyed the area and ended up interacting with the third complainant on the 2700 block of Dickinson Street, learning someone had shot the individual in the left thigh on the 1500 block of South Etting Street, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said.

The officer’s peers transported the victim to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where personnel listed him in stable condition. Two more complainants also revealed someone had shot them on the same block, with the first suffering from a shot to his right thigh, with authorities transporting him to the same location, and the second dealing with a shot to his right buttock, leading to his transport to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. As of press time, police had no description of the attacker(s), as the victims did not see who fired the weapon.
