Body found in the Delaware River

The body of an unknown man was spotted in the Delaware River near the 4500 block of S. Broad Street on August 20.

According to police, a passerby saw the body in the river and called police. The man was officially pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m. Police said the cause of death is unknown and under investigation.
