Dance and music show coming to Mummers Museum

Philadelphia-based SHARP Dance Company takes a step back in time to 1900s France with “Une Soirée au Cabaret” Nov. 3-5 at the Mummers Museum, 1100 S. 2nd St.

“We’re thrilled to bring this fan favorite back to Philadelphia audiences,” said Diane Sharp-Nachsin, artistic director of SHARP Dance. “This show is purely about having a good time — from beautiful dancing to amazing vocalists, to a great vibe with a fun crowd, ‘Une Soirée au Cabaret’ always leaves audiences smiling.”

The master of ceremonies, Broadway singer Ben Michael, guides the audience through an evening of collaboration in dance, live vocals and art. With original choreography by Miguel Quiñones, Sandra Davis and artistic director Diane Sharp-Nachsin combining with live vocals performed by Jenn Hallman and Chelsea Stanell, this performance encompasses pastiche, parody and wit.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on both Nov. 3 and Nov. 4, with a cabaret afterparty on Nov. 4 at 9:30 p.m. On Nov. 5, the curtain rises at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $35 ($40 at the door) and $25 for seniors and students ($30 at the door). Visit https://sharp-dance-company.ticketleap.com/une-soiree-au-cabaret/.
