Mario Lanza Concert Series – At 7 p.m. at St. Paul Church, 923 Christian St., the Mario Lanza Concert Series presents Opera Philadelphia’s Kaitlyn Tierney, Mezzo Soprano, tenor Justin Gonzalez and pianist Brooklyn Evangelista. Kaitlyn Tierney and Justin Gonzalez will be singing fan favorites from a variety of genres, like sacred works, jazz standards and opera classics. Tickets are $10 presale, $20 at the door. Take Meowt Dancing – From 8:30 p.m. to midnight, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to kick up your heels. Join the Young Friends of PAWS for a night of dancing at Society Hill Dance Academy, 1919 E. Passyunk Ave. The evening will begin with a private dance lesson for attendees followed by SHDA’s Latin Dance Party. Raffle prizes donated by local businesses. BYOB. Owls for Autism – A free day at Lincoln Financial Field for the Temple vs. Navy game for the first 200 individuals with autism who sign up. The first 100 kids will embark on an exclusive tour of the Eagles stadium. Experience the Sensory Friendly Zone within the stadium throughout the event. Turkey Tailgate – From noon to 4 p.m. before the Eagles take on the Cowboys. Guests have the chance to experience a tailgate while supporting Dimplez 4 Dayz, a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the youth voice and reducing youth violence in Philadelphia. Hosted by Philly PR Girl, guests will get an early taste of the holidays with Primo Hoagies’ signature “Primo Pilgrim” sandwich and Thanksgiving sides including stuffing, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. Toy Train Show – From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Train Collectors Association Atlantic Division will hold its Thanksgiving Toy Train Show and Sale at the Penns Landing Caterers (Sheet Metal Workers union hall), 1301 S. Columbus Blvd. There will be 140 tables with vintage toy trains and repair parts for sale, test track, operating toy train layouts, kids activities and door prizes for adults and children. KYL/D Fall Fundraiser – At 7:30 p.m., at Dina Wind Art Foundation, 1606 S. 8th St. Mingle with the artists and staff of KYL/D for an evening of cocktails and choreography. Honoring Ellen Gayda, board member and friend, the fundraiser will feature food and drinks crafted by Alex Carbonell of Bourbon & Branch, an auction, wall of wine and a performance of the KYL/D ensemble. The Chopin Project – At Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Jazz guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel and Swiss pianist Jean-Paul Brodbeck join forces for an historic collaboration on The Chopin Project, which reinterprets the music of Fréderic Chopin for jazz quartet. The Philly-born Rosenwinkel and Brodbeck will be joined by young Swiss bassist Lukas Traxel and Spanish-born drummer Jorge Rossy at Chris’ Jazz Café on Nov. 15-16. Set times are at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Admission is $35. Dinner & Show packages (including the 3-course chef tasting menu), VIP and general admission tickets are on sale now for all shows. SPHS Award of Excellence – From noon to 3 p.m. as the Waterfall Room at 2015 S. Swanson St., the South Philadelphia High School Alumni Association will recognize the 2023 Award of Excellence recipients who have been active in the South Philly community. Honorees are educators John Koskinen and Rosemary Trombetta; community service member Russell Shoemaker; and executive board member Yvonne Haughton.

Big Jay Oakerson – At 8 p.m. at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, beloved comedian and Philadelphia native, Big Jay Oakerson, will perform at The Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia.
