A Florida man is in custody for allegedly committing three bank robberies, including one in Lower Moyamensing, last week.

FBI agents arrested Michael Russell Marsico, 51, of Homestead, Fla., Oct. 18 based on an arrest warrant for an Oct. 3 bank robbery in Miami, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He subsequently was charged with the robbery of $1,000 from Wells Fargo, 2227 S. Broad St., Oct. 13; $1,590 from Republic Bank, 1601 Market St., Oct. 14; and $2,563 from TD Bank, 121 S. Broad St., Oct. 14.

The former South Philly resident faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
