A new ALDI grocery store is set to open on March 9 in South Philly.
The German-based chain will open its newest location at 2830 S. 20th St., just off Oregon Avenue. ALDI currently has more than 10,000 stores worldwide including more than 2,000 in the United States.
The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On opening day, the first 100 customers will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of ALDI Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card during the opening weekend from March 9-12.
