Black History Month Pop-Up – from 5-8 p.m. at Dock Street Brewing Company, 2118 Washington Ave., a pop-up showcasing local black-owned businesses including G + RIZZ, Nooked, NOSHADE, ASGNMT and Point Blank Limited. Happy hour specials while pursuing the market until 6 p.m. including $1 off any draft, $6 City Wide, $10 rotating cocktail and discounted bites such as $6 boneless buffalo chicken wings and $10 Americana pizza. Marlon Wayans – At 7 p.m. at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia, actor, producer and comedian Marlon Wayans will bring his stand-up comedy tour to The Event Center at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. ExtrABBAganza: ABBA Dance Party – From 7-10 p.m. at the American Swedish Historical Museum in FDR Park, celebrate the iconic music of ABBA as DJ Robert Drake will spin the classics as everyone lets out their inner Dancing Queen. Dancing and costume contest and a Drag Queen homage to ABBA performed by Summer St. Cartier, Miss Troy, Amerie Jameson and Morgan Morgan Morgan. ’70s attire is encouraged. The DCP Dance Party – From 7-10 p.m., at Asian Arts Initiative (1219 Vine St.), local dance education nonprofit Dancing Classroom Philly hosts its fundraising event, a night of dancing for adults (18+) that supports the organization’s in-school and community-based social dance education programs. Salsa dancing and bachata dance lessons. In Search of a Line – Drawing workshop with Pierre Trombert – From noon to 4 p.m. at No. 5 Butchie Alley, directly behind 1175 S 13th Street. Participants will draw a line in poetry and color inspired by selected music from classical to minimalist to modernism. Three music pieces, three drawings. $60. Limited to 10 participants. To Sit and Dream’ opera concert – At 3 p.m. at the Tindley Temple Methodist Church, 750 S. Broad St., Opera Philadelphia Chorus is teaming up with the Wharton-Wesley Faith Ensemble for a 90-minute concert centered on the poetry of Langston Hughes. Philadelphia soprano Karen Slack is a guest soloist. Conducting the show are Opera Philadelphia’s Elizabeth Braden and Theodore Thomas Jr., director of the Wharton-Wesley Faith Ensemble and Minister of Music at Tindley Temple.The show is ticketed at a “pay what you decide.”

TIMELESS: A Tribute to The Legacy of Peter Nero – At 3 p.m. at the Kimmel Center, a concert paying homage to the career and music of Peter Nero. The concert will be conducted by Carl Topilow with guest artist pianist George Burton, a Philadelphia native from Mt. Airy who graduated from CAPA and won a Peter Nero piano competition. They will join forces with The No Name Pops, the former musicians of The Philly Pops, to showcase Nero’s music.
