A senior was pushed down the steps of his Lower Moyamensing home and robbed Saturday morning.

The 84-year-old walked down the front steps of his home on the 1000 block of Cantrell Street at 10:20 a.m. when he was shoved, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. He collapsed, hit his head and lost consciousness. Upon awaking, his wallet, which contained credit and medical cards, along with $220, was gone.

He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition and treated for a swollen left jaw and scraped left arm, Tolliver said.

Police did not have the offenders’ descriptions at press time.
