A West Passyunk gas station was held up with the employee handing over his own money to meet the robber’s demand.

An unknown male entered the office of CITGO, 2435 W. Passyunk Ave., at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 13 and pointed a gun at a 59-year-old worker, who handed him $130 from his pocket, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The offender fled north on 25th Street into Wilson Park.

The suspect was described as black with a dark complexion age 25 to 35, 5-foot-10; having a medium build; and wearing a white T-shirt, dark-colored shorts and a black hat with a red “C” logo.
