A local cop was arrested last week for assaulting an ex.
Officer Sean Jang, 28, of the 18th District in West Philly, allegedly assaulted his former girlfriend, according to the Police Public Affairs Unit.
The resident of the 19147 zip code was arrested Aug. 18 and charged with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint/serious bodily injury, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and false imprisonment, according to court records.
The four-year veteran will be assigned administrative duties in the Differential Response Unit during the investigation, according to police, who did not release any further information.
